PORTUGAL HOME WEEK 2

From Porto to the World: PP&A and Claraval Enchant at Portugal Home Week

You’ve probably heard about our new brand, Claraval. If you haven’t had the chance yet, today is the day.

It is becoming a tradition for the magnificent city of Porto to host the visit of Perpétua, Pereira & Almeida in the month of June. Don’t worry, I know our lively and festive spirit might suggest otherwise, but this time (much to our regret) we weren’t there to celebrate São João. Our destination was the Alfândega do Porto Congress Center, which once again hosted Portugal Home Week on the 15th and 16th of June, an exclusive international event for professionals that encompasses all industries related to the Portuguese Home Sector.

Claraval 3

This year, PP&A attended for the third consecutive time, solidifying our status as a regular participant in the event. You’ve probably heard about our new brand, Claraval. If you haven’t had the chance yet, I invite you to visit our website (www.claraval.pt), where you can learn more about this innovative project in the world of ceramics. Well, if you visited the event in Porto, you surely came across our booth, and it will be hard to forget. That’s because, in this edition of Portugal Home Week, PP&A decided to go all-in on Claraval, creating a booth exclusively dedicated to “Sound-Made Ceramics.” Despite some initial surprise, given that it was the first time we showcased the brand in this way at a “Home Show,” the feedback was extremely positive, and the fair was a success in terms of contacts, business opportunities, and brand activation.

Regarding the event itself, it is only fair to congratulate APIMA for once again making itself available to companies and organizing the event. The effort put into bringing highly interesting industry professionals to Porto and the event deserves praise, as it opens numerous doors to new business opportunities in various markets. Last but not least, we would like to express our gratitude for the opportunity to present our brand and the entire creative and production process during the “Home Summit.”

It was two intense days, filled with networking and professional interactions, where we showcased our new Claraval products and our Mosteiro Collection, not only in the traditional white color but also introducing new colors and textures. We also presented various miniatures of the Mosteiro Collection pieces created through 3D printing using ceramic paste. However, the news didn’t stop there. We gave a glimpse of our upcoming collection, presenting small 3D-printed prototypes of the new shapes. This collection, inspired by the beautiful river that separates Porto and Gaia, giving life to the sounds of Foz do Douro, caught the attention of event visitors, resulting in some reservation requests.

Portugal Home Week was a success not only from a commercial perspective but also in terms of brand activation and promotion. In this regard, in addition to being featured in internationally renowned magazines such as Architectural Digest (ES) and Intramuros (FR), we had the opportunity to be interviewed live on Porto Canal and ECO, which is a testament to the interest surrounding Claraval and our Sound-Made Ceramics.

In conclusion, the overall balance is extremely positive, and we look forward to continuing to contribute to the growth of this excellent event next year. We plan to be present in 2024, bringing the innovations that everyone is eagerly anticipating.
